1. Acceptance

By using IntelliCard, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Local Profiles and Access

IntelliCard can be used with a guest profile, a local email/password profile, or Sign in with Apple on supported devices. No bank login is needed. These profiles are for access on your device and do not create a managed banking, lending, or custodial account with IntelliCard.

3. Informational Use Only

IntelliCard provides budgeting, tracking, planning, card recommendations, interest estimates, card health indicators, and balance-nudge tools for informational purposes only. It is not financial, legal, tax, investment, or credit advice. Always verify amounts and dates with your card issuer.

4. No Bank or Lender Relationship

IntelliCard is not a bank, card issuer, lender, broker, or credit bureau. We do not make lending decisions and do not act on your behalf with any card issuer.

5. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter or import, for reviewing recommendations and interest estimates before acting on them, for keeping balances up to date when prompted by balance nudges, and for securing your device, passcodes, biometrics, and any backup passphrases or exported files.

6. OCR, Statement Import, and Categorization Limits

Receipt scanning, PDF statement import, merchant detection, categorization, and recommendation logic use OCR, parser rules, heuristics, and local calculations that may be incomplete or wrong. You should verify merchants, amounts, statement details, due dates, and categories before saving or acting on them.

7. Interest Estimates and Card Health

Interest charges, card health status, and utilization indicators shown in the app are estimates based on the data you provided. Actual interest, fees, and account status are determined by your card issuer. IntelliCard is not responsible for differences between estimates and actual charges.

8. Balance Nudges and Reminder Notifications

Balance-nudge prompts and weekly reminder notifications are convenience features that help keep your card data fresh. They may be delayed, unavailable, or hidden by device settings. They do not replace checking your actual card balances and account statements.

9. Free and Premium Tiers

Certain features may be available only to premium subscribers. Feature availability, pricing, and tier assignments may change. Free-tier features may be moved to premium, or premium features may become free, at our discretion with reasonable notice.

10. Widgets, Reminders, and Notifications

Widget content, reminders, and local notifications are convenience features only. They may be delayed, unavailable, hidden by device settings, or stale, and they do not replace reviewing your actual card statements and account obligations.

11. Backups, Exports, and Manual Sharing

If you create an encrypted backup, export a file, share diagnostics, or send feedback email, you are responsible for the destination you choose and for protecting any copied file or message outside the app. IntelliCard does not control third-party storage, mail, or share targets you select.

12. Third-Party and Device Services

Some features depend on Apple or device services, such as Sign in with Apple, Face ID or biometrics, document picking, notifications, widgets, and mail or browser apps. Production releases may also use Sentry for technical crash diagnostics. Those services are governed by their own terms and availability.

13. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date.

14. Local Data Deletion and Account Removal

You may stop using IntelliCard at any time. Using the app's delete-account or reset options removes local data from the device for the selected profile or app installation, but does not retract files, emails, or backups you already shared elsewhere.

15. Warranty Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IntelliCard is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or purely financial losses arising from your use of the app, including missed reminders, inaccurate recommendations, interest estimate errors, import errors, or lost access to local data or backup files.
